Designed for Students and Professionals

Bassoon reeds created by That’s a Wrap Reed Company are handcrafted from start to finish using the highest quality cane. Each reed is thoroughly finished for excellent response, warm tone, and ease of use before delivery.

All reeds are produced in the “Cleveland Style,” using a narrow shape designed by John Clouser, principal bassoonist of The Cleveland Orchestra. Additionally, my reeds use four wires instead of three, giving the reed a better seal and allowing the reed to vibrate more evenly. I use a signature Modern Wrap sealed with bee’s wax for extra resonance in the tone.
